Delivery and Returns
How quickly do we deliver?
An expected delivery time is clearly shown for every item on the site. Delivery time varies depending on the product and how it is shipped to you. Many small or lightweight items are sent by first class post, and usually arrive the next day. Other items are sent by courier, and can take several days to be delivered (depending on the service used and your location). Extra time will be taken to despatch items that are hand-made, made to order or are personalised in some way. The delivery times given are the best we can provide, and can not be speeded-up by additional payment for a faster delivery service.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery costs, regardless of the number of items ordered, are offered as a single standard, next day, Europe or rest of the world shipping rate.
Can I choose whether to send my order to my home, my workplace or directly to someone else?
Yes, you can write what delivery address you wish to send to in the checkout. If this address differs from your cardholder address we will need to take your landline telephone number (as known by your card company) as a security measure.
What happens if I don't like what I've ordered?
You have the same rights buying here as you would in any shop, and we offer a full 14 day 'no-quibble' money back guarantee. Just send it back for whatever reason and we'll refund you in full.
NB: All references to ' U.K. ' addresses below apply to England , Wales and parts of Scotland only. 'Days' means working weekdays and does not include weekends and public holidays.
Secure Online Payment
Why it's Safe
You may be worried about disclosing your card details online, but it is statistically far safer to make payment to Secure sites such as ours than paying by card in shops or restaurants. Even if you have read other peoples' security statements you may learn some interesting and useful information by taking the time to read the following.
Credit Card Fraud
Credit Card fraud is usually the result of someone making a note of somebody else's card details (perhaps by seeing someone's card up close) and making purchases from companies where the cardholder does not need to be presen, such as a mail order catalogue. If your card were ever to be used fraudulently your card issuer cannot hold you liable for any more than £50.00, and must cover any amount above that themselves. Please check with your card issuers for full details.
Secure Online Payment
Theperfectlypinkcompany.com payment pages are hosted on a Secure Protx server. This means that all sensitive credit card information is entered within a protected area that no one else can view, and where all information travelling from your computer to the payment server is encrypted (coded). When you enter the secure payment page from our site and of other Secure sites you will notice a padlock or key image on the bottom of your browser window. This indicates that it is safe to enter sensitive information. You can also see the start of the URL (internet address name) change from 'http' to 'https'. The 's' means 'secure'. Please remember to check this on other sites you may visit to make sure they provide the same level of protection.
